Terms of Service

By accessing or using RaidLabs (“the Service”), including the website at raidlabs.net, associated game servers, and Discord server, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account & Authentication

  • You sign in using your Steam account. You are responsible for the security of your Steam account and any activity that occurs through it on our Service.
  • You may not use someone else’s Steam account to access the Service.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or revoke access to any user at our discretion.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, hacks, bugs, or any unauthorized third-party software on our game servers.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or our server infrastructure.
  • Upload, share, or distribute builds that contain offensive, discriminatory, hateful, or sexually explicit content in their names, thumbnails, or associated data.
  • Post comments that are abusive, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful to other users.
  • Spam, flood, or otherwise disrupt the site, game servers, or Discord with excessive or unwanted content.
  • Impersonate other users, staff, or administrators.
  • Manipulate the voting system (e.g., using multiple accounts to upvote or downvote).
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to crash, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of our servers or website.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access or extract data from the Service without prior written permission.
  • Sell, trade, or commercially exploit any part of the Service, including VIP perks, without authorization.
  • Grief, harass, or deliberately ruin the creative experience for other players on the game server.
  • Advertise, promote, or solicit other servers, websites, or services without permission.

4. User Content

  • You retain ownership of the builds you create. By making a build public, you grant RaidLabs a non-exclusive license to display, host, and distribute that build on the Service.
  • You may delete your builds and comments at any time. Archived copies may be retained for backup purposes.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you upload, share, or post.

5. VIP & Payments

  • VIP subscriptions and donations are voluntary and grant access to additional features as described at the time of purchase.
  • All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store your credit card or payment details.
  • Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
  • VIP perks are cosmetic and convenience-oriented. We do not guarantee that specific features will remain available indefinitely and reserve the right to modify VIP benefits.

6. Enforcement & Consequences

Violations of these Terms may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion and without prior warning:

  • Temporary mute on the website, Discord, and/or game server.
  • Temporary ban from the website, Discord, and/or game server.
  • Permanent ban from all RaidLabs services, including the website, Discord, and all game servers.
  • Content removal — builds, comments, or other user content may be deleted.
  • VIP revocation — VIP status may be revoked without refund in cases of serious or repeated violations.

The severity of the action will be proportional to the violation. Repeated offenses will result in escalating consequences.

7. Intellectual Property

The RaidLabs name, logo, website design, and original code are the property of RaidLabs. Rust is a registered trademark of Facepunch Studios. RaidLabs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facepunch Studios or Valve Corporation.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including build saves.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaidLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of build data, game progress, or VIP benefits.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice through our Discord server.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through the appropriate legal channels.
